Controversy As Court Orders INEC To List Uba As Anambra PDP Candidate

But in a fresh order issued on Monday, the judge in Awka, Hyeladzira Nganjiwa, asked the electoral commission to publish Ozigbo’s name as PDP’s candidate, following the withdrawal of the suit at the FCT high court.

Ruling in a matter brought before the court by Senator Ugochukwu Uba against Valentine Ozigbo on Anambra chapter of PDP and the INEC, Justice Obiora Nwabunike said Uba’s faction of the party held their primary election in line with the guideline of the party and should be listed as the governorship candidate..
