Nigerians Are Suffering – APC Chieftain, Monidafe Tells Tinubu
Former ACN Chairman and APC Chieftain criticized President Tinubu's economic policies in an AIT interview, particularly the immediate fuel subsidy removal. He argued Tinubu has "weaponized hunger" without providing cushioning measures like Abacha's PTF. He urged Tinubu to reverse these policies, citing widespread suffering. The chieftain also expressed disappointment over the lack of recognition and reward for loyal politicians who supported Tinubu, including many former ACN members. He lamented that deserving individuals haven't been appointed to boards and other positions, stating that rewards are expected in politics, similar to religion. He expressed concern for the overall well-being of Nigeria.
