Codefest Nigeria Hackathon 2025 targets Guinness World Record with ‘Build for Nigeria’ theme
Codefest Nigeria Hackathon Award/Expo 2025 aims to break the Guinness World Record for the longest and most participated hackathon. Starting October 1st and culminating in an awards ceremony on November 20, 2025, at the University of Lagos, the hackathon focuses on "Build for Nigeria," challenging over 100 teams to develop solutions for key economic sectors like fintech, agriculture, and health. Supported by international and local partners, participants engage in intense mentor sessions and develop AI, blockchain, and application-based solutions. The event seeks to transform ideas into scalable prototypes addressing national issues and connect young talents with investors and industry leaders, inviting further partnerships to champion innovation and shape Nigeria's digital future.
