Ghanaian gospel musician Sonnie Badu has weighed in on US-basedGhanaian comedian and actor Michael Blackson'srecent social media rants about his lost investments in the country.

He explained that he hoped the bonds' returns would help sustain the free school he built in Ghana, which requires $10,000 a month to cover operational costs such as teacher salaries, utilities, and other expenses.

Sonnie Badu stated that the US-based comedian's celebrity status lent credibility to his complaints and damaged Ghana's reputation on the international stage.

The comedian revealed that he had purchased Eurobonds to fund his school in Agona Nsaba but suffered significant lossesdue to his investment in Ghanaian bonds..
