Wike Renames Abuja ICC After President Tinubu
The International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja, originally built in 1991, has been renovated and renamed the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre. During the commissioning on Tuesday, Minister Wike emphasized the need for paid usage and proper maintenance of the world-class facility. Management of the ICC will be handled by Julius Berger, the construction company, and staffed by trained Nigerians to ensure professional upkeep and prevent mismanagement by politicians. Operations are set to begin soon after the commissioning.
