Chiamaka Nnadozie Lands Nomination For 2025 IFFHS Women’s World Best Goalkeeper Award
Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie is nominated for the 2025 IFFHS Women's World Best Goalkeeper award, making her the sole African among the ten finalists. Competing against renowned players like Ann-Katrin Berger and Cata Coll, this nomination highlights Nnadozie's impressive year. Her recent achievements include a nomination for the Barclays WSL Save of the Month, being named Best Goalkeeper at the 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, and finishing fourth in the Women’s Yachine Trophy, becoming the first African to be nominated. Also, she's widely expected to win the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award for the third consecutive time. A win in the IFFHS Award would mark a historic moment, making her the first African woman to receive the prestigious title. The IFFHS results will be announced in December.
