Lookman, Oshoala Shine At 2025 Nigeria Pitch Awards [See All Winners]

Nigerian football recognized its top performers, with Ademola Lookman and Asisat Oshoala crowned King and Queen of the Pitch, respectively. Victor Osimhen secured Striker of the Year, Alex Iwobi, Midfielder of the Year, and William Troost-Ekong, Defender of the Year. Fidelis Ilechukwu earned Coach of the Year for his work with Rangers International, who were also named Team of the Year. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu was recognized as Football Friendly Governor, with Lagos State acknowledged for its grassroots program. Kunle Soname received the Sam Okwaraji Award, and MTN Nigeria was named Corporate Sponsor. The event also honored football journalists Charles Diya, Godwin Enakhena, Mozez Praiz, and Samuel Ahmadu.
