Burkina: the sector of the predominantly female shea generates more than 60 million dollars in exports

The Support Project for Integral Development of the shea sector for the economic empowerment of women (PADIFK), implemented between 2016 and 2019 in Burkina Faso, has boosted exports of shea products, according to a report by the African Development Bank development (www.AfDB.org) published 16 juillet.Le PADIFK, funded to the tune of 993,000 dollars by a grant from the Assistance Fund African private sector Assistance (FAPA), aimed to organize, structure in umbrella organizations and to support the development of at least 100 organizations distributed along the Burkina Faso shea value chain.
