He said:“President Muhammadu Buhari’s led APC administration should be aware that the only way to solve the present situation in Nigeria is to respect the rights of every component units, and charged the Federal and State governments to immediately open channels of dialogue to weigh options and adapt where necessary.” While expressing confidence that Nigeria will overcome the current security threat across the states, Anyanwu advised the All Progressives Congress-led government to look for better ways of tackling the issues at hand.
While expressing his concerns over the current state of the nation, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, member opined that the only way to solve Nigeria’s present situation is to respect the rights of every component unit.
He warned the government against the use of force on Nigerians by security agencies, noting that in a decent democratic setting, the citizens are placed as a top priority than anything else..
