Naija Newsreports that Bankole’s request was made two weeks following a ruling by the Supreme Court that confirmed the local governments’ right to directly receive monthly funds from the federal account.
Acknowledging the necessity of voicing complaints and seeking responsibility, the PWD leader emphasized the importance of making certain that the public’s behaviour doesn’t turn into aggression or disorder.
He said,“I have no doubt that the leadership of governors in this matter can set a powerful example and contribute significantly to the realization of an inclusive and equitable political landscape in Nigeria.
