The 15th Conference of the Parties (COP15) against desertification (UNCCD) will be held in Abidjan from 9 to 20 May
Through its decisions adopted by the 197 Parties to the UNCCD, COP15 is expected to galvanize sustainable solutions for land restoration and drought resilience, with a strong emphasis on future-proofing land use . unccd.int/cop15 Drought, land restoration and related enablers such as land rights, gender equality and youth empowerment are high on the agenda of the Conference . Legacy: From Scarcity to Prosperity’, is a call to action to ensure that the earth, the lifeline on this planet, continues to benefit present and future generations.
