Timi Frank Reveals Why Trump Imposed Visa Restriction On Nigeria
Timi Frank, former APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, praised the U.S. for imposing visa restrictions on individuals linked to terrorism in Nigeria, attributing the need for such measures to the Nigerian government's inaction against terror sponsors. He stated that the U.S. intervention forces Nigeria to address terror financing and security transparency, issues previously ignored. Frank criticized the government for failing to publish a list of terror financiers identified by the UAE, alleging political interference and corruption obstruct prosecutions. He urged the U.S. to withhold sensitive intelligence until Nigeria discloses the list and demonstrates genuine efforts to prosecute terror sponsors, arguing that Nigeria possesses the capability to tackle insecurity but lacks the political will due to corruption.
