Coordinating Minister Muhammad Pate highlighted that 74% of Nigerians are satisfied with healthcare facilities and primary services. Citizens' confidence in the health system and government's emergency management capacity is also rising. While affordability remains a concern, health insurance coverage has doubled. The government is implementing social protection programs and strengthening primary healthcare. Maternal and newborn deaths have decreased in focus areas, and vaccination coverage is improving. The government aims to reduce reliance on foreign aid and increase domestic resource mobilization. Over 20,000 health workers have been recruited, and funding has been allocated to address arrears.
