CAF Awards: Chiamaka Nnadozie wins 2025 Goalkeeper of the Year
Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has won the CAF Women's Goalkeeper of the Year award for the third consecutive time (2023-2025), solidifying her position as Africa's premier female goalkeeper. The 24-year-old's remarkable year includes being shortlisted for The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper Award 2025 and contributing significantly to Paris FC's Coupe de France Féminine victory before moving to Brighton & Hove Albion. Nnadozie also delivered a commanding display at the last WAFCON tournament, claiming four clean sheets and winning Goalkeeper of the Tournament as Nigeria secured their 10th title. Additionally, she finished fourth in the Women's Yachine Trophy at the Ballon d'Or, a historic achievement for a Nigerian goalkeeper. Yassine Bounou of Morocco won the men's award.
