Duration of the Transition: ANAD remains categorical... "15 months or nothing"

According to Mory Condé, the proposals that have been made are in line with article 77 of the charter, which provides that the duration and the timetable of the transition will be defined by mutual agreement between the CNRD and the actors of the living forces.

CONAKRY-The Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization presented on Friday, April 29, the restitution of the various proposals made by the living forces of the nation for the return to constitutional order in Guinea.

We estimated that to hold a free, transparent election (legislative, municipal and Presidential) in the current context of Guinea, -if we are in good faith-, 15 months is more than enough.

"From 15 months to five years" as the duration of the transition, this is how the proposals unveiled by Mory Condé can be summed up.

The three who are not there have also taken care to make their proposals but through the press which we have taken into account", declared Mory Condé..
