10 Akwa Ibom Lawmakers Dump PDP, YPP For APC
Akwa Ibom Governor Umo Eno defected from the PDP to the APC, prompting a wave of defections from PDP and YPP lawmakers in the state's National Assembly delegation. Senators Ekong Sampson and Aniekan Bassey, along with eight House of Representatives members including Emmanuel Ukpongudo (YPP), are joining the APC, citing their loyalty to Governor Eno.
