Explaining what caused the disturbances, an eye witness told journalists that “It all started with the usual processions by the two halls in support of their various candidates from the halls to the Great Hall before the vetting starts.
Students of two halls at theKwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST), Unity Hall, Conti and University Hall, Katanga, have vandalised some of the university’s properties after they clashed following a misunderstanding that occurred at a vetting process for the Students Representative Council, (SRC)elections, held at the Great Hall of the University Sunday, July 4, 2021.
