Recovery of State property: Nearly 4,000 buildings in the sights of the CNRD in Nzérékoré

N'ZÉRÉKORÉ- Several districts of the urban municipality of Nzérékoré are in the sights of the CNRD (national committee of the gathering for development), the military junta in power in Guinea, which has initiated a vast program of recovery of built and unbuilt heritage of the state across the country.

After the marking operations of the buildings located at the edges of the roads last week, the eviction was initiated by the local authorities early this Wednesday, May 04, 2022.

According to our information, the districts Mohomou, Ossud, Tilepoulou, Nyen, Dorota, Commercial, Angola are concerned by this operation which was launched on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, in the city of N'Zérékoré.

While the bulldozer was already clearing the rights-of-way on the Boma side, in the city, several citizens were on the move on all the main roads to dismantle their kiosks and leave the premises.
