Jobe Bellingham, the younger brother of Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham, has officially joined Borussia Dortmund for a club-record upfront fee of €33 million plus potential bonuses of €5 million. The 19-year-old England Under-21 international, previously with Sunderland, expressed his happiness at joining Dortmund and aims to contribute to the club's success. He will wear ‘Jobe’ on his jersey to forge his own identity. Dortmund's Managing Director for Sport, Lars Ricken, lauded Jobe's talent and maturity. This transfer surpasses Jude Bellingham’s initial Dortmund fee but not Ousmane Dembélé’s overall transfer record. The move potentially sets up a Bellingham brothers match-up in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where Dortmund will begin their tournament against Fluminense.
