Simon Ekpa: Ohanaeze Hails Finland Court Judgement, Urges Agitators To Embrace Peace

They believe Ekpa's sentencing signifies a turning point for the region. Ohanaeze specifically thanked key security officials for ending the sit-at-home protests and addressing broader security issues. The group emphasized that the Southeast does not support armed struggle and advocated for a peaceful path towards self-determination. They urged the Federal Government to engage with repentant pro-Biafra agitators and offered to support rehabilitation and empowerment programs for them, drawing parallels to the amnesty program in the Niger Delta. Ohanaeze also appealed to Ekpa's supporters to lay down their arms and reintegrate into society.
