The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh said Abuja residents have right to protest and the police command would not prevent citizens from exercising their rights.
SP Adeh’s statement comes amid calls for protest by citizens as Nigeria’s economy bites harder, food prices remain high and inflation continues to get higher.
It is your lawful right to protest but please carry us along so we can provide you with adequate protection and prevent the protest from being hijacked by those with inordinate motives.
