Just In: ‘Fubara Remains Governor’ – Presidency Insists, Knocks ‘Dangerous’ Peter Obi

Olusegun Dada, Special Assistant to Tinubu, criticized Peter Obi's claim that democracy has collapsed under Tinubu's administration due to the state of emergency declared in Rivers State. Dada accused Obi of hypocrisy and being mischievously dangerous, citing Obasanjo's presidency as the foundation layer of democracy. Dada argued that Obi overlooked Governor Fubara's actions, such as creating an illegal 4-man assembly and demolishing the parliament building, which he believes led to the collapse of democracy in Rivers State. He further accused Obi of ignoring these issues while governing without a parliament. Dada also pointed out past events under Obasanjo's administration, including the stolen 2003 election and the attempt to impeach Obi in 2006, and accused Obi of collapsing democracy in Anambra state.
