The demonstrators held signs that read, among other things: "justice for M'Mah Sylla"; "Silence kills", "Stop sexual assault"; “Justice for all victims”; “Don't touch my daughter”; "The rapist's place is prison not at home." "It is with total desolation that I speak here on behalf of the women and girls of Labé to demand justice in favor of M'mah Sylla who has been repeatedly raped, tortured and murdered by people who were supposed to help him regain better health.

LABE- This is the first demonstration to demand "justice" for the late M’Mah Sylla who died this weekend in Tunis where she was being evacuated for treatment following the rape she suffered in a clinic in Conakry.

"We ask that the perpetrators of this rape, of these tortures and assassinations be punished at the height of their crime so that they serve as an example to others who do the same thing in the shadows but who are not for the moment unmasked.

It is for this reason that we, women and girls of Labé strongly condemn this heinous crime and demand justice for M'mah Sylla as well as all the other silent victims who flee the gaze of society ”, launched Mariama Ciré Diallo journalist activist who carried the voice of the fairer sex of Labé.
