Igbokwe has expressed his frustration and sadness over the ongoing killing and destruction in the South East region, specifically in Igboland. He believes that these actions are not part of their culture and that Igbo people are killing each other and blaming it on Fulani herdsmen. This comes amidst the murder of Anambra businessman, Ifesinachi Onyekere, who was kidnapped and found dead. Igbokwe also reacted to the adoption of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a platform to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election, stating that former National Chairman Okey Ralph Nwosu is the luckiest man in the party.
